Individual investors liquidate share portfolios of EUR 93.7 mn in 2010

Individual investors on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) liquidated share portfolios of 93.7 million euros (388.55 million lei) in 2010, according to BVB.

They bought shares of 595.85 million euros (2.48 billion lei) last year and sold shares of 689.56 million euros (2.87 billion lei) in total.

In 2010, on BVB, corporate investors bought shares of 734.66 million euros (3.07 billion lei) and sold shares of 630 million euros (2.64 billion lei), with net purchases having stood at 104.33 million euros (433.03 million lei).

On aggregate accounts, where Erste Bank shares are traded, Romanian and foreign investors were net sellers last year, having liquidated portfolios of 10.62 million euros (44.47 million lei). The purchases of Erste Bank shares in 2010 stood at 15.46 million euros (64.36 million lei) and the sales were worth 26.08 million euros (108.84 million lei).
