China Development Bank interested in investing in Romania

Representatives of China Development Bank expressed eager interest in investing in Romania, mentioning their willingness to provide financial support for the projects carried out in Romania by Chinese IT & C companies, reads a release of the Ministry of Communications and Information Society (MCSI).
During a meeting in Beijing with representatives of China's Development Bank, Romanian incumbent Minister Valerian Vreme presented the opportunities offered by the Romanian communications and IT industry, which could also qualify for advantageous financing from the Chinese bank.
Thus, the approval of Law No. 178 of 2010 on the public-private partnership paves the way for the financing of major projects for the development of electronic communications infrastructure and information society services.
Minister of Communications and Information Society Valerian Vreme met on January 12, 2011 in Beijing with representatives of China Development Bank.
Minister Vreme will also meet in Beijing with Chinese Minister of Industry and Information Technology Miao Wei.
