Stock market closes high

Stocks traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) increased on Thursday by 0.11 percent on average, as reflected by the BET-C composite index, while financial investment securities dropped by 0.25 percent, as indicated by the BET-FI index.
Trade on the BVB Regular main ring was conducted in shares issued by 48 companies, 17 of which registered growth, 7 stagnated and 24 depreciated.
The total value of dealings on the main ring amounted to 6.51 million euros (27.73 million lei), and to 121.475 euros on the Rasdaq ring.
The BET index reflecting the developments in the 10 most liquid stocks edged up 0.45 percent and the BET-XT extended blue-chip index of the 25 most liquid companies ticked up by 0.25 percent, while the BET-NG index of energy and utilities companies depreciated by 0.05 percent.
The most liquid issuers were SIF5 Oltenia, with dealings of 3.54 million lei and the BRD with 2.31 million lei.
