Stock market opens higher on Friday

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened higher Friday's trading session, with the BET-C composite index increasing 0.53 percent in the 15 opening minutes.

The BET-FI index that tracks the performance of the financial investment companies increased 0.44 percent, while the BET index that reflects the trend of the most liquid ten listed issuers and the ROTX index went up 0.29 percent and 0.21 percent respectively.

The BET-XT extended blue-chip index of the 25 most liquid companies increased 0.38 percent, while the BET-NG index of energy and utilities companies slightly increased 0.60 percent.

The BVB liquidity was 30,750 euros and trading conducted on the RASDAQ market in the 15 opening minutes stood at 7,102.71 euros.

The most liquid issuers were SIF5 Oltenia, BRD - Societe Generale, the Bucharest Stock Exchange, the Transilvania Bank and OMV Petrom.
