Romania may sign a precautionary agreement

According to World Bank officials, cited by the local media, Romania is preparing to negotiate a new agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), European Commission (EC) and the World Bank.
According to the representatives of the World Bank, Romania will sign a precautionary agreement that will probably span over two years. No details about the amount of the support package were offered. Further details are expected to be revealed starting January 25, when a new IMF and EC mission will come for an evaluation visit in Romania. We see the news as neutral as a new agreeement was expected.
