Stock market opens 1.24% high

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened high its trading session, with the BET-C composite index growing by 0.45 percent, in the first 15 opening minutes on Wednesday.

The BET-FI index that tracks the performance of the five financial investment companies (SIFs) rose by 1.24 percent, the BET index that reflects the evolution of the most liquid ten listed issuers appreciated by 0.68 percent while the ROTX index edged up 0.75 percent.

The BET-XT extended blue-chip index of the 25 most liquid companies ticked up by 0.85 percent, while the BET-NG index of energy and utilities companies rose by 0.58 percent.

The BVB liquidity amounted to 218,000 euros and trading conducted on the RASDAQ market in the 15 opening minutes stood at 3,700 euros.

The most liquid issuers were SIF5 Oltenia and Bsnca Transilvania.
