SIF Transilvania asks for compensation for stake in IAR Ghimbav

According to local media, SIF Transilvania (SIF3) officials asked the majority shareholder of helicopter producer IAR Ghimbav (IARV), the Ministry of Finance, to compensate them for the 5% stake in the company with other stocks at companies in the Ministry's portfolio or with cash.
We remind that IAR Ghimbav entered a joint-venture with Eurocopter and approved last year a capital increase at this company with assets worth EUR 3.5 mn, mainly the assets used now for the aircraft maintenance repair & overhaul (MRO) activities.
