Ionut Movanu appointed new Tax Director at LeitnerLeitner Romania

Ionut Movanu joined LeitnerLeitner team in January 2011 as the new Tax Director at LeitnerLeitner Romania. Ionut will develop the new Business Line Banking & Finance in close collaboration with the already existing Practice Group Banking & Finance in Austria with its well-known representatives and LeitnerLeitner Partners Univ. Prof. Dr. Sabine Kirchmayr-Schliesselberger and Tatjana Polivanova-Rosenauer.

Ionut Movanu has 10 years experience in Tax Advisory, mainly in the Financial Services sector, having worked several years as 'Tax Manager' and 'Head of Tax and Cost Control' at Unicredit Bank and most recently as Senior Manager at KPMG in Bucharest. During his Tax Advisor career he has been consulting the major banks, insurances, and leasing companies in the Romanian Financial Sector with specific Tax Advisory or on special projects like Cross-Border Tax Structuring, Tax Optimization, Tax Reviews or Due Diligences. Ionut studied in Romania and France Economics and Law, owns an ACCA certification and is Member of the Chamber of Romanian Tax Advisors. Besides Romanian, he speaks English, French and German.
