Commercial real estate transactions in 2010: some EUR 300 mn

According to this study, this market has potential to grow this year by 30-60% to some 400-500 million euros.

'Compared to 2010, when distressed-type properties (...) were mainly traded, we expect office sector to draw the investors' interest at the same extent, at lest. The properties located in decentralized area and with a rate of high availability will represent the mass of the offer, with Bucharest remaining the investors' main target', says Cristian Ustinescu, investment manager at DTZ Echinox.

The biggest transaction made in 2010 was signed in the last days of the year, when NEPI signed for the purchase of Floreasca Business Park in Bucharest for more than 100 million euro.
