Stocks opens low, on Monday

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) moved downwards in the opening of the session this Monday, with the BET-C composite index dipping 1.32 percent in the first twenty minutes after the start of trades.

The BET-FI index that tracks the performance of the five financial investment companies (SIFs) fell 1.78 pct, whereas the BET index that reflects the evolution of the most liquid ten listed shares went down 1.46 percent, while the ROTX index lost 1.28 pct.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT of the top-liquid 25 issuers dropped 1.60 pct and the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG scored a depreciation by 0.62 pct.

The BVB liquidity was 1.041 million euros and trades performed on the RASDAQ market in the first 20 minutes of the session stood at 1,120.75 euros.

The top liquid issuers were Proprietatea Fund, and the SIFs.
