Romania's industrial output decreased in December by 0.2% mom

According to data released yesterday by the National Statistics Institute (INSSE), in December industrial output decreased 0.2% mom (seasonally adjusted data) mostly on the back of a 0.3% decline in manufacturing segment.
On a yoy basis, December industrial output climbed 6.5% yoy. Industrial output for 2010 increased 4.1% yoy driven by energy generation (+7.6% yoy), manufacturing (+4.9% yoy), while mining showed a 7% contraction.
