Stock market opens low

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened low on Thursday, with the BET-C composite index decreasing 0.06 percent in the first ten minutes.

The BET-FI index that reflects the performance of the financial investment companies (SIFs) increased 0.04 percent, while the BET index that reflects the trend of the most liquid ten listed issuers went down 0.06 percent and the ROTX also declined 0.07 percent.

The BET-XT extended blue-chip index of the 25 most liquid stocks decreased 0.04 percent, while the BET-NG index of energy and utilities companies declined 0.22 percent.

The BVB liquidity was 23,710 euros and trading conducted on the RASDAQ market in the first ten minutes stood at 915 euros.

The most liquid issuers were Fondul Proprietatea, SIF2 Moldova, Petrom, the Transilvania Bank and SIF5 Oltenia.
