Stock market opens high

Stocks traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) on Thursday's opening session recorded an increase and the BET-C composite index edged up 0.17 percent in the first 30 opening minutes.

Financial investment securities went up by 0.33 percent, as indicated by the BET-FI index, the BET index reflecting the developments in the 10 most liquid stocks increased by 0.23 percent and the ROTX index rose by 0.07 percent.

The BET-XT extended blue-chip index of the 25 most liquid companies edged up 0.21 percent, while the BET-NG index of energy and utilities companies increased by 0.25 percent.The total value of dealings on the main ring stood at 148,180 euros and on the Rasdaq ring the trading volume amounted to 2,505 euros in the first 10 opening minutes.

The most liquid stocks were the Proprietatea Fund, BRD, Banca Transilvania, Ropharma and OMV - Petrom.
