Stock market opens high

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened high on Wednesday, with the BET-C composite index increasing 0.43 percent in the first 30 minutes.

The BET-FI index that reflects the performance of the financial investment companies (SIFs) increased 1.40 percent, while the BET index that reflects the trend of the most liquid ten listed issuers went up 0.51 percent and the ROTX also grew 0.71 percent.

The BET-XT extended blue-chip index of the 25 most liquid stocks increased 0.71 percent, while the BET-NG index of energy and utilities companies appreciated 0.85 percent.

The BVB liquidity was 810,594 euros and trading conducted on the RASDAQ market in the first 30 minutes stood at only 491 euros.

The most liquid issuers were Fondul Proprietatea, Erste Bank, Oltchim, SIF5 Oltenia and Azomures.
