EC survey : the Romanians trust the economy more

The indicator of population trust and companies in the Romanian economy continued to increase in February, showing an improvement of the perception especially in the sector of services, retail and industry, according to a survey made by the European Commission (EC).
The EC indicator of trust in the Romanian economy increased from 89.3 points in January to 93.8 in February. In the last month of last year the percentage was 87.6. The most dynamic advance was of sub-indicator referring to the sector of services, which went up from -5.8 points to 4.9 points. Improvements were seen by the factors regarding retail ( from -8.5 to -2.1) and industry ( -3.1 to 0.2 ). Population trust increased from -48.7 points to -46.3 points.
The only component with negative evolution was that referring to the sector of constructions ( dropping from -25.1 in January to -25.3 in February).
At the level of the EU the indicator of trust in economy went up from 105.8 points to 107.2 points. The advance, considered strong by the authors of the survey was supported by the improvement of the perception in the services sector.
Trust increased in the majority of the EU member states, the EC mentions. Out of the seven big states, Poland and the UK had the most advanced positive evolutions, and France and Italy the only countries where the indicator dropped.
