SIF Muntenia dividend proposal

The company intends to distribute 55.5% of its net profit as dividends, corresponding to a gross dividend per share of RON 0.05, implying a dividend yield of 7.26% on yesterday's closing price. The proposed ex-dividend date was May 13, 2011. The pay-out ratio is higher than last year (35%) and even above the pay-out ratios announced by SIF Transilvania and SIF Moldova, therefore we see the news as positive.
