SIF Banat-Crisana hikes dividend proposal

SIF Banat-Crisana (SIF1) announced that it made some changes to its next GSM agenda (April 27) as requested by the local securities commission (CNVM), namely for the shareholders to vote on the election of the Board members, discharging the previously proposal to extend the mandate of the members appointed temporarily.
Additionally, SIF 1 decided to hike the dividend proposal to RON 0.103 per share from RON 0.06. Thus, the pay-out ratio is to be hiked to almost 90% from 52.3%.
We view the hike in the proposed dividend as positive since it would indicate a good gross dividend yield of 9.2% (based of the last trading price of RON 1.13 per share) and we expect positive reaction from investors.
