Two 100% electric Renault car models undergo test drives in Romania

Renault brought for the first time in Romania the 100 pct electrically powered models Fluence Z.E. and Kangoo Express Z.E., and beginning with end-2011, the two cars will be marketed for a minimum price of 21,000 euros - the first - and 15,000 euros, the second, respectively.

Media representatives, opinion leaders and Renault's local partners will have the opportunity to test the two models over the five days of 100 pct electric test drive. Four electric cars will be tested in traffic in downtown Bucharest.

The customers will be able to rent the battery for a minimum monthly subscription fee of 79 euros (all taxes included), under a 48-month contract and a maximum annual journey of 10,000 km.

Renault Fluence Z.E. has a driving range of 185 km on mixed track and its electric motor has a power output of 95 hp.

The Kangoo Express Z.E. has a driving range of 170 km on mixed track, and its electric motor has a power output of 60 hp.
