Stock market opens low on Monday

Trade on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened low on Monday, with the BET-C general index having declined 1.14 percent in the first 15 minutes of the session.

The BET-FI index of the SIF financial investment company stocks decreased 0.31 percent, while the BET index reflecting the developments in the 10 most liquid stocks dropped 0.77 percent.

The enlarged blue chip index BET-XT of the 25 most liquid stocks declined 0.63 percent, and the BET-NG energy sector and public utilities index went down 2.65 percent.

The BVB liquidity stood at 311.369 euros. On the RASDAQ ring of BVB shares worth 3,195 euros were traded in the first 15 minutes of the session.

The most liquid stocks were Fondul Proprietatea, BRD and SIF1 Banat Crisana.
