MFA : Romania decided to suspend the activity of the Embassy in Tripoli

Romania decided to suspend the activity of the Tripoli Embassy starting with 14 May and bringing back all the personnel, following the constant deterioration of the security situation in Lybia, including the capital city, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed on Monday.
MFS recommends the Romanian citizens to avoid travelling to Lybia. The Romanian citizens who are still on Lybian territory are advised to leave the country and in case of necessity to request help from the diplomatic representatives of the EU member states ( Hungary and Cyprus) who are still in Lybia, at the Red Cross Office.
