BVB ends week with slight appreciation

The quotations of the shares listed on Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) appreciated by an average 0.68 percent on Friday, a performance measured by the composite index BET-C, whereas the BET-FI index of the financial investment funds (SIFs) went up by 0.68 percent.

BVB's main ring, Regular, witnessed trading operations involving stock issued by 56 companies, 37 of which reported quotation appreciations, while three remained level and 16 depreciated.

The amount of deals made on BVB went up to EUR 9.395 mln (RON 38.816 mln) while those on Rasdaq amounted to EUR 93,764.

The BET index measuring the performance of the most liquid 10 stocks listed on the stock market, gained 0.87 percent, the blue-chip trading extended index BET-XT of the most liquid 25 stocks went up by 1.05 percent whereas the BET-NG index of the energy and related utilities saw a 1.07 percent appreciation.

The most liquid shares were Proprietatea Fund with RON 18.74 mln worth of deals, Oltchim, RON 2.6 mln, Azomures, RON 2.05 mln, Transelectrica, RON 1.5 mln and the financial investment fund Oltenia, RON 1.46 mln.
