BVB advances 1% on Tuesday

Trade on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Monday up, with the BET-C composite index advancing 1.05 percent, while financial investment securities were up 0.27 percent, as indicated by the BET-FI index.

Trade on the BVB Regular main ring was conducted in shares issued by 60 companies, 34 of which recorded growth, and 19 depreciated.

Total BVB trade stood at RON 52.47 million (12.69 million euros), while trade on the RASDAQ ring totalled 69,847 euros.

The BET index reflecting the developments in the 10 most liquid stocks went down 0.04 percent, and the BET-XT blue-chips index of the 25 most liquid companies advanced 0.38 percent, while the BET-NG index of energy and utilities companies deppreciated by 1.96 percent.

The most liquid stocks were Fondul Proprietatea, with trades of RON 28.76 million, and BRD - RON 3.51 million.
