SIF's net assets, up 0.4% in May

The net assets in euros were 1.78 billion euros in late April, 0.7 percent lower than in late March. In May, the five financial investment funds reported appreciations compared to the previous month, from 0.9 percent at SIF Banat-Crisana to 3.7 percent at SIF Oltenia, whereas SIF Moldova (-3.9 percent) and SIF Transilvania (-0.6 percent) reported decreases in the net assets compared to the previous month. The level of the closing price reported in late May, compared to the previous month, reported corrections all the way, from -4.6 percent at SIF Transilvania and reaching 17.2 percent at SIF Banat-Crisana.
