ACTMedia - 27 Iunie 2011
A new edition of Pasarela fashion festival will be organized on July 2-3 by the French Embassy in Romania, in collaboration with the French Institute in Bucharest and the French Fashion Institute in Paris, with the event to be held at the National Museum of Contemporary Art to offer Romanian designers and art school students the opportunity to present their collections.
'Pasarela fashion festival is a meeting that allows dialogue between Romanian and French creation in the arts of fashion, offering a current image of the Romanian creativity and making it accessible to a responsive public that are passionate about current trends and thus have the opportunity also to get closer more to the values of the French fashion industry,' France's Ambassador Henri Paul told a press conference for the presentation of the event, held on Thursday at the embassy. The interested public will enjoy a contest-exhibition of accessories, the contest-fair of fashion and design that includes projects of the graduates from fashion faculties nationwide and the Espoir Mode fashion show, at the end of which the 2011 young hope will be chosen. Also included in the programme are the screening of some documentaries by Loic Prigent, dedicated to some great names of the French fashion - Jean Paul Gaultier, Chanel and Sonia Rykel, and also the fashion show of designer Florin Dobre and the launch of Andrea Badala's Murmur brand.
