A maximum price of RON 0.46 for Petrom stake secondary offering

The secondary offering for the OMV Petrom shares, launched by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Business Environment (MECMA), has set a maximum price of 0.46 lei per share, the maximum value of the offering amounting to roughly 2.564 million lei, according to the announcement published on the Bucharest Stock Exchange website.
MECMA puts up for sale 5,573,780,260 nominal shares, worth 0.1 lei each. The minimum subscription volume is set at 3,000 shares. The period when the offer is valid spans between July 11 and 22, 2011.
The subscription is made by investors filling in the forms made available by the brokers or by the members of the distribution group. The payment will be made by wire transfer.
The offering is made up of two stages: the retail stage, where the shares are made available only to individuals, shares representing 15 percent of the total number for sale, and the institutional stage,where the shares are offered to investors, others than individuals, and they represent 85 percent of the total number.
In case a stage is not enough subscribed for, the remaining shares roll over to the other stage.
The offering will be deemed ready once at least 80 percent of the shares for sale have been subscribed at the end. The offering can be closed before due time in case it is entirely subscribed for.
The offering will be brokered by the joint effort of Renaissance Capital Limited, SSIF EFG Eurobank Securities, SSIF BT Securities and SSIF Romcapital.
