European Commissioner Neelie Kroes starts today an official visit to Romania

Vice-President of the European Commission in charge of the digital agenda Neelie Kroes on Monday pays an official visit to Romania, informs the site of the European Commission.

During her visit Mrs Neelie Kroes will meet Romania's President Traian Basescu and Premier Emil Boc.

Mrs Kroes will also meet other representatives of Romania's Government, namely Minister of Communications and Information Society Valerian Vreme and president of the National Authority for Administration and Regulation in Communications Catalin Marinescu, informs the above-mentioned source.

The European official's agenda also includes participation in the first conference devoted to a digital agenda for Romania, which will be attended by representatives of the relevant national authorities and of the sides interested in this field.
