Romanian industrial production, up 8.9% in first 5 months

The processing industry rose by 9.4%, the extractive one by 8.3% and the generation and supply of electricity, heating, gas, hot water and air conditioning rose by 5.7%.

In terms of the big industrial groups, increases were recorded in all categories of goods, i.e. in the intermediate goods industry (16.8%), the durables industry (+9.3%), the capital goods industry (+7.9%), the energy industry (+4.5%) and the consumer goods industry (+2.5%).
