State budget revenues boosted by RON 3.21 bn at revision
ACTMedia - 3 August 2011
The revenues of the state budget will gain 3.21 billion lei at the budget revision, according to the draft resolution on the state budget revision on 2011.
The revenues estimated from the taxes on profit increase by 155.2 million lei after receiving the tax on profit from the companies as their activity went up over the first quarter.
The earnings from other taxes on profit, revenue and capital-derived earnings from companies will go up by 200 million lei out of the tax on revenue and salaries by 33.2 million lei, as the average gross wages went up by 2.3 percent in May 2011 on a year-on-year basis, and those from the value added tax will increase by 650.7 million lei. The revenues from excise taxes are set to gain 1.435 billion lei.
'The increase is mainly due to the improved actions of fighting tax evasion in the field of those products where the excise tax is applied, both by our own controlling agents and by the cooperation with the other institutions operating in the field, jointly with the legal amendments promoted by the Ministry of Public Finance, the National Agency of Fiscal Administration. Within the 26.3 percent increase of the total revenues out of excise taxes over the first six months of 2011 as compared to the same period of last year, the major increase was reported by cigarettes and tobacco products,' reads the note that supports the normative document. The non-fiscal revenues go up by more than a billion lei at revision, Agerpres informs.
