ACTMedia - 13 Septembrie 2011
Commercial exchanges between Romania and Poland would get at 2.73 billion euro in 2010, and the estimates show they will reach the value of 3 billion euro in 2011, the ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Bucharest H.E. Marek Szczygiel said on Monday at the opening of an exhibition of the Embassy of Poland at the Chamber for Commerce and Industry of Romania (CCIR).
'Commercial exchanges between Romania and Poland could reach the value of 3 billion euro in 2011 after they were 2.73 billion euro last year. Polish investors are more and more interested to get on the Romanian market. In this context we hope to see Romanian companies on the Polish market' the Polish ambassador said.
At the same time, he added that Poland could be an example for the European states as regards the absorption of European funds. ' Poland used a third of the European funds available and had the highest degree of absorption in the EU. Poland is a good example according to the economic evolution of 2010 and we hope that it will be the same in 2011. The state recorded high rankings for investment allocation' Marek Szczygiel said.
Poland was classified in 2011 on the 6th position in the World Report of investment drawn up by the Conference of United Nations for Trade and Development (UNCTAD). The Polish embassy opened on Monday at CCIR an exhibition called Poland – an attractive destination in Europe – where there are presented business opportunities such as the touristic attractions of the country.
