Research and Inventika Shows take place in Bucharest between October 5 and 8
ACTMedia - 5 Octombrie 2011
The National Authority for Scientific Research in the period October 5-8 at the Romexpo Exhibition Centre will organize the exhibition of Romanian research accomplishments 'The Research Show' and the fifteenth edition of the Inventions, Scientific Research and New Technologies International Show, 'Inventika 2011,' informs a press release remitted to Agerpres on Tuesday.
Inventika Show, which benefits from the support of Romania's Chamber of Commerce and Industry and of Bucharest's Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will be taking place at the Romexpo Exhibition Centre, at the same time with the Research Show, within the Bucharest Technical International Fair - TIB 2011.
The simultaneous unfolding of the two events puts inventors and researchers face to face with industry, represented by well-known Romanian and foreign manufactures and traders, becoming the ideal environment for the promotion of Romanian technical intelligence in the international competition.
The participating inventors will benefit from the professional and competent support of the State Office for Inventions and Trademarks - OSIM Bucharest.
Continuing the initiative of the previous year, a section devoted to young inventors grouped in 'Young Inventors' Show' will be organized within the Inventika Show 2011, an event in its second edition and carried out in collaboration with the Executive Unit for Financing Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation (UEFISCDI).
An international jury will assess the inventions and will decide the prize winners. During the Show, a number of conferences, workshops, round tables and presentations will be organized with the purpose of offering inventors the proper environment to make their inventions known and to make useful contacts for partnership closing.
With the occasion of the two exhibition events, the 'Innovation Forum 2011' will also be taking place. This international event is a debate platform on innovation issues and will be carried out on the days of October 6 and 7 this year, at Romexpo, too. The Forum is organized with the support of the European Commission, the Directorate General for Enterprises and Industry, as well as of Mr. Sven Schade, who coordinated the Regional Innovation Strategy in Romania. The group of experts attending the works of the event will present the policy stage in the context of the Strategy Europe 2020 - the Innovation Union - and of the Strategy for the Danube Region, recently launched programmatic European policy documents.
