Korean companies interested in tourism and infrastructure in Romania

Korean companies are interested in joint projects with the Romanian companies in the field of tourism, construction and infrastructure, according to a release of the Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism, on Wednesday.
Minister of Regional Development and Tourism Elena Udrea and the Republic of Korea Ambassador to Bucharest, Im Han-taek, had a meeting during which they discussed issues related to the Romanian-Korean collaboration.
The Romanian official expressed her intention to share the Republic of Korea experience in tourism, with emphasis on cultural tourism.
According to MRDT, the Korean Ambassador stressed that, besides tourism, the Korean companies have a keen interest in construction and infrastructure field, the two sides emphasizing their wish to continue cooperation in developing joint projects.
Discussions were focused on the future visit to the Republic of Korea of Minister Elena Udrea, on the occasion of the nineteenth session of the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization, to be held in Gyeongju, from October 8 to 14, 2011.
