Economy Ministry and Pedersen&Partners Consulting sign consultancy contract for professional managers' selection process

The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Business Environment (MECMA) and Pedersen&Partners Consulting company on Tuesday signed the consultancy contract for the recruitment of managing personnel for the companies under the institution's coordination.

According to a MECMA release, in the following period Pedersen&Partners Consulting will provide the institution specialized consultancy in drawing up the specifications and in organising the tenders through which the HR recruitment companies will be designated for the selection of candidates for the management positions with the companies subordinated to the Ministry.

Hidroelectrica, Oltchim, the Oltenia National Lignite Corporation (SNLO), Electrica Furnizare and Romarm are the first state-owned companies to get professional management designated through specific methods.

A professional management for large state-owned companies represents one of the provisions of the Memorandum with the International Monetary Fund.
