Stock market opens lower

Stocks traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) on Wednesday opened lower in the first 5 trading minutes, as reflected by the BET-C composite index plunging by 0.03 percent.

Financial investment funds went down 0.18 percent, as indicated by the BET-FI index, the BET index reflecting the developments in the 10 most liquid stocks dropped 0.03 percent while the ROTX index edged up 0.05 percent.

The BET-XT extended blue-chip index of the 25 most liquid companies ticked down 0.06 percent while the BET-NG index of energy and utilities companies surged by 0.01 percent.

The total value of dealings on the main ring stood at 102,913 euros and on the Rasdaq ring the trading volume amounted to only 23 euros in the first 5 trading minutes.
