Head of Bilderberg Group comes to Bucharest

Viscount Etienne Davignon, the president of Bilderberg Group will meet BNR governor Mugur Isarescu on Friday to discuss about EU and the debt crisis. Davignon is a Belgian politician of Hungarian origin who was also the vice-president of the European Commission.

He was also the first chairman of the International Energy Agency, president of Societe Generale de Belgique and is now the vice- president of Suez-Tractebel subsidiary.

Bildergerg Group has been meeting every year since 1954 and is considered the most powerful structure of big world leaders.At the last Bilderberg meeting held in St. Moritz Switzerland, the president of Deutsche Bank, Josef Ackermann, the vice-president of the European Commission, Joaquin Almunia, the American magnate David Rockefeller and the president of the World Bank Robert Zoellick participated.

Bilderberg Group is managed by a committee of two people and brings to the same table 120 businessmen and politicians. The name of the group was given by the Dutch hotel where the first meeting was held.
