The legislative proposal to hike the ownership limit – update

According to local media, following postponements of more than one year, the proposal to hike the ownership limit in SIFs from 1% to 5% was scheduled to be discussed by the Budget and Finance Committee of the Chamber of Deputies on November 7-8.
Apparently, the Committee will give a positive recommendation. The Committee needs to produce the report based on which the Chamber of Deputies will vote on hiking the ownership limit in SIFs. We believe the market will react positively to the news.
