MFP: Road Show for possible bond issue on international markets in November
ACTMedia - 10 Noiembrie 2011
The Public Finance Ministry (MFP) on November 11 will launch a Road Show for a possible bond issue on international markets, the second one this year, Secretary of State Bogdan Dragoi told Reuters. Citibank, Deutsche Bank (DBK Gn.DE) and HSBC will be the arrangers in the bond issue, Dragoi mentioned.
Romania has a three-year programme for drawing seven billion euros from international investors, within which it sold euro-denominated bonds worth 1.5 billion euros in June this year.
According to MFP, the second issue would be taking place in November, in euros or dollars, depending on the market conditions.
The first issue had a 255 basis point Credit Default Swap, a little under the level of 260 basis points set as target, and the total demand stood at 3 billion euros.
