Brokerage contract for selling 15% of Transelectrica shares

Minister of Economy, Trade and Business Milieu signed on Monday the brokerage contract with the Brokerage Union, made up of the Romanian Commercial Bank, SSIF International Invest and Swiss Capital, bidder selected to broker the secondary public offering to sell a 15 percent stake of the National Company of Power Transmission Transelectrica.
The offer is set by MECMA on Bucharest Stock Exchange, by the office of the State Participations and Privatization in Industry. In the upcoming period, the financial and consultancy services necessary to prepare, run and successfully conclude the secondary public offering to sell Transelectrica shares.
The revised budget for 2011 proposed by Transelectrica sets total revenues of 2.43 billion lei, total expenses of 2.39 billion lei and a gross profit of 42 million lei.
Transelectrica company reported a net profit of 153.4 million lei in the first three quarters of 2011, almost 30 times higher compared to the same in 2010, according to information sent to BVB.
The Romanian state holds 73.6 percent of Transelectrica shares, Proprietatea Fund has 13.4 percent and the free-float is 12.8 percent.
