Fondul Proprietatea - Memorandum with the State for establishing Complexul Energetic Oltenia

According to a release to the Stock Exchange, Fondul Proprietatea (FP) has informed that it has signed a Memorandum with the Ministry of Economy for establishing Complexul Energetic Oltenia, which is a merger between Complexul Energetic Craiova, Complexul Energetic Turceni, Complexul Energetic Rovinari and Societatea Nationala a Lignitului Oltenia.
The Memorandum states that the new formed entity will be listed on the BSE or will be sold to a strategic investor in maximum 2 years and FP will have a put option on its shares. Complexul Energetic Oltenia accounts for roughly 7% of FP's NAV. We rate this piece of news as neutral for FP shares since this outcome was expected for several months.
