Agerpres - 17 Ianuarie 2012
Three banking consortia submitted offers to broker the listing on the stock exchange of a stake belonging to Romgaz Medias, with the winner to be announced in two weeks, Florin Vladan, director of the Office of State Participations and Privatization in Industry (OPSPI), told Agerpres.
'We have received three brokering offers, from three banking consortia. The first is made up of Goldman Sachs Group Inc, Erste Group Bank AG, The Romanian Commercial Bank and Raiffeisen Capital & Investment, the second is made up of JP Morgan Chase & Co, UniCredit Bank AG, Alpha Bank AE, Alpha Finance and BT Securities. The third is made up of Citigroup Inc, Societe Generale, BRD-Group Societe Generale and ING Groep NV,' Florin Vadan said.
The OPSPI director said that three stages will be necessary in order to name the winner.
'The first stage will be to check the participation documents. This can go on for a couple of days. The second stage, which might last by the end of the week to come, is to determine the results of the technical offers. The maximum score is 85 points. The third state is submitting the financial offers, early next week. Then the result is calculated following a standard formula, where the financial offer accounts for 20 percent and the technical offer for 80 percent. The negotiations with the winner consortium to sign the brokerage contract will take place then,' Florin Vladan explained.
The secondary public offering to sell a stake representing 15 percent of the shares capital of Romgaz company on the regulated market administered by Bucharest Stock Exchange might be launched in late June or early July 2012 according to the quoted source.
The public offering aims to sell a stake of 5,745,575 shares issued by Romgaz, according to OPSPI website.
