Niro Investment Group starts new projects in constructions

Niro Investment Group is getting ready to build together with the Chinese partners from Beijing Urban Construction Group (BUCG). Niro signed a long-term cooperation agreement with BUCG, and the new company will build Niro Towers and will assure the design and development of some infrastructure projects both in Romania and in other countries from Europe.

BUCG is one of the biggest design and construction companies from the People’s Republic of China which has participated for over 50 years to the most important civil engineering and infrastructure projects from that country. The company has designed and built the tallest building from the capital of China, and the arena which will host the Olympic Games from Beijing 2008, plus the stadium and the Olympic village. Other projects achieved by BUCG are the design and construction of the underground transport systems from ten Chinese provinces, the construction of 250 km of expressway every year, the systematization and urban design of the transport network in Beijing, the design and construction of Terminal 3 of the international airport from Beijing, the biggest airport terminal in the world, the design and construction of the Great National Theatre from Beijing, the rehabilitation of the historical monuments the Sky Temple, the Winter Palace from the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Gate. The partnership between the two companies was mediated by Isoconstructor SA, a construction and general entrepreneurship company, belonging to Niro group, a company which has focused in the past few years on the development of commercial centers, among which Herastrau Business Centre. Niro Investment Group is a company 100 per cent Romanian with activities in various domains, which made in the last five years total investments of over EUR 150 M, having an annual turnover of over EUR 100 M.
