Siveco expects turnover worth 84M USD in 2008

Siveco Romania business software maker expects a turnover worth 84 million USD (57.9 million euros) in 2008, up by 20 percent than 70 million dollars it earned last year. Part of the profit will be reinvested in research and development.

In 2008, the Company plans to consolidate its position as a know-how exporter and a partner in IT projects to be conducted worldwide. The expansion of the Company's business to countries of the Commonwealth of the Independent States (CIS) the Near East and Africa could go on in 2008 as well, Siveco officials say. 'Without abandoning the Romanian market that continues to hold an impressive potential, we orientate towards the know-how exports and develop complex IT programmes on as many foreign markets as possible, there where there are similarities and we can fully capitalize on the expertise we have earned at home,' says Siveco Romania CEO Irina Socol. The Company will mainly focus its efforts on projects where participation as a consortium is mandatory, Siveco Romania official added. Siveco Romania has already earned and consolidated its position as a supplier of e-inclusion solutions, both at home and abroad and it has got constantly involved in major IT&C solutions securing an indiscriminate access to e-learning, e-health, e-agriculture, e-business solutions.
