Aker Braila stake traded for 0.4 million euro

One million euro was raised on Tuesday, January 28, on the Rasdaq market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) in four transactions, of which more than 410,000 euros was given by a 2.2-percent stake in the Aker Braila Shipyard. The stock package was traded in a special deal previously negotiated.
The Aker Braila ship building and repair company has posted losses of 3.94 million euros in the first nine months of 2007, which was 3.55 times more than in same period one year before, daily Business Standard reports. Aker Braila's market capitalisation is put al almost 18.7 million eros.
Scandinor AS is holding a majority stake in the shipyard, 88.02 percent, with other investors holding together 11.98 percent of the remaining shares. Norwegian company Scandinor was taken over in 2003 by Norwegian Aker Yards, one of the world's largest shipyards.
