BCR LEASING IFN to ease renewal of national heavy commercial vehicle fleet
ROMPRES - Romanian News Agency - 6 Februarie 2008
BCR LEASING IFN is launching this week a promotional campaign for funding the purchase of heavy commercial vehicles.
The leasing arm of the Romanian Commercial Bank (BCR) has launched the campaign entitled 'How easy is to drive a heavy vehicle ?' in which it seeks to use financial arguments in order to persuade the clients that any vehicle of over 3.5 tonnes 'is easy to drive'. The down payment is 5 percent, the interest rate stands at 7 percent per annum, while the management fee is 1.5 percent.
The offer is open to the commercial companies from various industries, construction, transport, oil-chemical industry as well as to the firms involved in tourism, trade and services. The promotion equally targets the public authorities, health care institutions and civil defence bodies seeking to renew their utility vehicle fleet. BCR LEASING IFN has forged partnerships with renowned car dealers and importers like MAN, Mercedes-Benz, EVW Holding, Cefin, Dumatrucks, Protruck and Schmitz Cargobull. The promotional offer is valid until April 30.
The developments in the auto market last year prompted a significant change in the structure of the sales made by BCR LEASING IFN. The company saw its commercial vehicle leasing sales surge to 27 percent up from 16 percent in 2006. The value of the goods financed on this segment climbed to nearly 102 million euros last year, up from 47 million euros in 2006.
BCR LEASING IFN has been acting in the Romanian relevant market since 2001, being a subsidiary of BCR which is now part of Erste, a powerful Central European financial group. The company has a 30-unit-network across Romania, being the most important operator in the national leasing market.
