SIF 1 net profit up 47.7 pc in 2007

SIF 1 Banat-Crisana reported a 122.81 million lei (some 35 million euros) net profit in 2007, up 47.7 percent as against the previous year, according to Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB).

The gross profit advanced 48.3 percent, up to 130.77 million lei (over 37 million euros), while the financial company's assets went up 33.4 percent, reaching 2.02 billion lei (over 575 million euros). The capitals' profitability reported a significant growth, reaching 26.3 percent level, as against 21.9 pc registered in 2006. The company invested 53.95 million lei (over 145 million euros) on the capital market in 2007, 89 percent of them being purchase of securities listed on the market. Sursa: http://www.rompress.ro
