GeCadNet turnover, a 40 pc hike in 2007

GeCad Net, member of the GeCad Group, concluded fiscal year 2007 with a turnover of 5.5 million euros, up 40 percent compared to previous year, informed the company.

This growth, higher than the market's, is due to the new strategy implemented by the company to provide to the local business environment complex solutions in the fields of IT security, assisted drafting (CAD) and business software, said GeCad representatives. Gabriela Mechea, director general of GeCad Net, stressed that of the overall turnover more than 50 percent is the result of CAD (Computer Aided Design) solutions and services, this business line also recording the highest growth - 49 percent as against 2006. She estimated that revenues from CAD project in 2008 will rise by a minimum 30 percent. The company has at present more than 1,000 clients in fields such as telecommunications, financial-banking sector, constructions, energy, oil and gas and others. Among them there are Agip Romania, Alro SA, Angst, Autoitalia, Banc Post, Catavencu, CEC, Daedalus Consulting, Despec Romania, Polirom Publishing House, Fan Courier, Farmexim, Garanta, Honeywell Garett, Mercury360, Metroul SA, Monstanto, Omniasig, Petrom, Ringier, Rosal Group, Constanta Shipyard, Sensiblu, Star-Storage, Tempo Advertising, Vodafone Romania.
