Seven Hill doubles investment in Romania in 2008

Seven Hills, the subsidiary in Romania of real estate Beny Steinmetz Group (BSG) invested in the real estate market in Romania some 500 million euros, and intends to invest twice as much in 2008, both in Bucharest and the countywide, BSG said in a press release.

'Seven Hills started investing in Romania not long ago. We will start several projects in 2008, the result will be more comfort for the middle class. It is important for us to offer Romanians lodgings at reasonable prices, we avoid to sell them to investors, who would sell them, in their turn, for higher sums. The Seven Hills projects are, many of them, lodgings with high comfort, for medium prices, but we have already started talks for a few projects for offices and retail, ' said marketing manager of Seven Hills Co. Nimrod Zvik. The expansion will begin with the residential project Central Gardens in Ploiesti, south. Along with the project West Park Residential, BSG will develop in Romania residential projects in Pantelimon area and in downtown Bucharest. The company has started building some 3,000 villas at Saftica and Corbeanca, both of them out of Bucharest, as well as office buildings and shopping centers in Bucharest, Constanta (east) and Brasov (center). BSG is an Israeli investor with projects in North America and nine European countries.
