Anchor invests 50 million euro in office complex

Anchor Grup invests 50 million euro in an A class office complex - Anchor Plaza Metropol - situated close in Bucharest, the group's manager Ibrahim Paksoy told a Monday's press conference.

'The investment in the office building, which will have a total area of 55,000 sqm, amounts to 50 million euros This building will become operational as of H2 2009', said Ibrahim Paksoy. The 12-storey building will have a lettable area of 33,600 sqm, with 3,000 sqm per floor. The construction works on Anchor Plaza Metropol, done by Serrom Construction, have started, and the spaces have lease offers starting March 2008. The property developer Anchor Grup will continue the investment on the Romanian market in two residential buildings, close to Bucuresti Mall. The group entered the Romanian market in 1997 and has in Bucharest two shopping malls: Bucuresti Mall and Plaza Romania.
