Some 1.2 million dlrs worth of assets to be put up for sale in March

The State Assets Realization Authority (AVAS) has scheduled 10 auctions in March for the sale of assets worth more than 1.2 million dollars, AVAS announced on Tuesday.

The sale method is by open-outcry auction, in which all the interested persons can take part, with the sole criterion for winning being the price. The assets put up for sale by AVAS (industrial buildings, land, other buildings, vehicles) have resulted from the recovery of bank-, commercial- and fiscal debts in the Authority's portfolio.
