BCR Executive President receives 'The Silver Ron'

Executive President of the Commercial Bank of Romania (BCR) Manfred Wimmer received from Saptamana Financiara weekly, the prize 'The Silver Ron' for the 'success recorded with integrating BCR in Erste Group,' BCR's spokesman Corneliu Cojocaru announced on Thursday.

BCR's net profit substantially increased in 2007 by 22.3 percent, reaching the biggest value in the Group's history, of about 1 million euros per day. The Golden Ron went to businessman Dinu Patriciu, Rompetrol Group President, while the Bronze Ron was received by president of Raiffeisen Capital & Investment, Dana Mirela Ionescu. Moreover, eight special prizes 'Mr Ron' were also granted. Mr. Ron festivity award is at its 3rd edition and was held within an Anniversary Gala marking 3 years since the first issue of Saptamana Financiara weekly.
