tIMOn – 15,000 houses on sale from Romania and from abroad

The prices for plots of land and houses are extremely high, Ludovic Orban, the Minister of Transportation, has stated yesterday at the opening of the last ‘tIMOn’ real-estate fair of the spring. ‘I am extremely preoccupied with the housing situation in Bucharest. And I am a partner willing to support real-estate projects. I believe that the green-house type of development should stop, that is why the Mayoralty has to form partnerships with the real-estate developers’ Orban added during the press conference.

tIMOn’s April exhibition has opened its doors yesterday within the World Trade Center in Bucharest, with the visitors being invited to analyze the offers by April 13. The public will be able to see over 15,000 houses located in Bucharest, Valea Prahovei, the seaside but also abroad in Balcic, Kavarna, Pamporovo (Bulgaria), Hurghada (Egypt), Spain and Brazil. tIMOn will present 5 residential centers for the first time: Octavia Residence (an apartment block located in the Sisesti area, built by Cherpec Construct and promoted by Pacs), Olympus Holiday (a 107-apartment project promoted by Premium Imobiliare), and the Rosu Forest Residence (a project promoted by Premum Imobiliare). The largest discount is offered by Trend Imobiliar for the acquisition of a villa in Corbeanca, the promoter and the developer offering a EUR 50,000 discount out of the total price of EUR 254,000 for 5 villas that are on sale. Vilblok Construct developer will offer a car for the first ten contracts closed during the fair, while the Eurometropola real-estate company will offer a special price of EUR 1,400 (VAT included) per square meter of built-up space for the apartments within the Solaria Residence complex. The cheapest house in Bucharest costs EUR 39,000 and is located within the Rosu Forest Residence. Another 7 residential projects have sale prices ranging from EUR 1,000 and EUR 1,400 per square meter of built-up space. Cosmopolis (Opus Land Development, a 4,600-house project near the Stefanesti forest, of which 193 houses are put up for sale at this stage), Vivenda (Hercesa Imobiliara, a 1,400-apartment project located on Basarabiei Boulevard, of which 124 apartments are put up for sale during the fair) and Sunset Residence (Ablon, a 2,120-apartment project located on Timisoara Boulevard, of which 424 apartments are put up for sale at this stage) are the largest residential projects promoted during the fair.
